But it took only a little digging to realize that was wrong. Only those who never entertain the possibility they could be wrong kept that mindset.

Actually, by not understanding the relationships within the region caused you to jump to incorrect conclusions.

Even though it turned out Iraq wasn't involved, and even that they had disposed of their WMD before we got there, the idea that removing Saddam isn't a huge part of the solution to the problem is inept and confused.

As we now see, by removing Saddam it set the stage for other nations in the region to discard their regimes of their own accords -- particularly, Iran. Today, Iranians are demanding a taste of the freedom GWB brought to Iraq. Unfortunately, BHO doesn't appear to be up to the challenge.

The Iraq War, as it has turned out, is likely to be the most important single turning point in the long-term elimination of radical Islam. Now, I recognize many of you think that's no accomplishment. Still..
