Well, you just said that you don't know what's in the bill, but you know that it will lower quality of care for the "privileged" who can afford it.

The bill is two thousand pages long. Probably the longest piece of legislation in American history. Certainly amongst the top two or three. There is a LOT that neither of knows about.

But there is plenty of material that has leaked out for those of us whose business it is to stay on top of it.

As to your comment (it will lower the quality of care, etc.) you MUST be familiar with the provision that eliminates Medicare Advantage in 49 states (leaving it intact in Florida, at a cost of $30 Billion to be incurred by the 49 remaining states).

Obviously, when you eliminate Medicare Advantage, you cut the quality of care. You're surely not arguing that point, right? I can (but won't) give you 100 other examples.

Al, > Well, you just said that you don't know what's in the bill, but you know that it will lower quality of care for the "privileged" who can afford it.

What do you think will be in the bill? Do you predict that health care costs will actually go down as a result of its passage?
