i've tried several times to 'drag the link' to the toolbar and it just jumps back to it's page position...

Yes, it does, but you have to be persistent. Keep trying.

Works if you drag it to the upper horizontal "Bookmarks Toolbar."

My toolbar is so full I had to click the arrow to the right to find it. I didn't think it was there at first, but it was and was just hidden off screen. I'm finding it works well on SI although there is that little glitch I mentioned to LB.
