.MA is Medicare administered by a private insurer. My father in law had it...the care was no different from Medicare proper to which he later switched.

You're either ignorant or a liar. Or both, I don't know.

The thing that i-node conveniently ignores is that, according to studies, MA costs about 14% more than straight Medicare for the same coverage.
