I've thought about how I would cut my communication costs to the bone if I had to. What I would do is cancel my Verison cell phones, cable TV, and home telephone land line, but would keep high speed internet. Then to using my internet I would add magic-jack just for a home phone and use pre-paid cell phones just for emergencies and get all my TV off an antenna. My daughter wouldn't like it, but I pay a lot for everything I'm getting.

The Networks want everybody to pay. Their problem is getting around the "free" service they provide in exchange for the very valuable spectrum the FCC gives them.
