We don't know a single person or couple who are not watching carefully the funds they spend. The people with quite a bit of money (before the stock market crash) have had their retirement savings decrease by 30-50%....

The people in the middle of the pile are really scared to death that Obama and friends are going to tax them heavily for making a six figure income while their kids are going to college. Most of these people don't qualify for scholarships....most are non-minority, and have kids with high averages in school, but not total 4.0's....

As everyone looks around, more and more businesses are going out of business...large and small.

So, Yes....today preserve every bit of value you can is the motto here...
