It's true the Transports may be topping out very soon, but money flow remains positive so it's unlikely that the Transports are in anything more than a correction within the uptrend. However, it's also unlikely that significant new highs are coming. The best bet is that the Transports are in a neutral trend for the remainder of January. If the index can hold up for several months in a sideways trend, it would become very vulnerable to a big decline. Dow Theorists like to look for non-confirmations between the Transports and the Industrials to signal the end of a bull market. That's likely to happen in 2010 as the Transports fail to make a new high while the Industrials continue to do so.
