Ahhh-you miss the point, Zin! I DON'T really want to compare. Everything out there is ridiculously high-Why shouldn't your property taxes be also? The point is ---they aren't. They seem to be lower. Mine are a lot worse. Our sales taxes are about even..8.25%. And of course we have no state income tax. We have to offer something to get businesses to come here. You guys are paying for the right to tell us what a great place you live, to rub it in when it's 116 degrees here in August, to remind us how beautiful it is there when I look out on flat ugly terrain, to chastise us and look down on us for our close-minded, conservative viewpoints and remind us that everything there is superior, which many of you do with great relish. You convinced so many people, that they all moved there. Don't whine to me about your problems. I have Texas. AND high property taxes.
