There is NOTHING about the effective tactics of achieving strategic victory (such as avoiding giving the other side propaganda victories that strengthen them!) that is EITHER "liberal" OR "conservative". What's EFFECTIVE is it's own definition... completely divorced from any political spectrum. Apparently you don't have a very good handle on pragmatism... or what planning and sustained efforts will be required to ever achieve a strategic victory (if all you can do is see things though a sterile partisan lens that has absolutely nothing to do with anything).
