Secondly, it is a former VP's prerogative to go after the president, it isn't unseemly, it is correct. Just as Gore went after Bush. It is different from a former president going after a current president (like Carter has done). It would make Obama look petty while exposing him to more criticism. Oh BS. I let this one pass the first time because I wasn't in the mood to argue with you. However, Gore gave Bush such a big pass it infuriated the Left. First he let him get away with stealing the election and then he kept his mouth shut for years while Bush ran this country into the ground. The problem with Gore is that he's too much the gentleman. So stop reinventing history to fit your argument. We were all alive in 2001. Obama needs to ignore it, just the way Bush ignored criticism when he was president. Even better, he could acknowledge it as Bush did a couple of times and say, "I welcome the criticism, that's what democracy is about" -- which allows him to rise far above it as GWB did. Ignore Cheney when he lies? BS. Obama needs to go after the him and nail his fat ass to the wall.
