C'mon Zin! Frontal is where all the good stuff is, certainly for a teen..Not much to see in the back. Although I was quite taken with Kevin Costner's backside in Dances With Wolves.

Seeing a movie in which sex is depicted without love or commitment, where physical desire, greed and immediate gratification seem to be the governing motivators in human lives, watching a woman slit her throat with a shard of glass, watching Satan personified attempting to take over the world by mating his son and daughter, children born of human women, is not in any way a realistic, positive, constructive way to prepare my child for the world--including the evil aspects of it. A young teen is very busy constructing himself and his views of life. He is wrestling with sexual issues and decisions, with peer pressure, with parental conflicts, with moral choices that will affect him from here on out. This was an ugly, dark movie that offered him no sustenance, no positive reinforcement, no ethical explanations, no (laugh if you will) nobility. I want my boys to realize that we can be more than the sum of our bestial instincts, that we are capable of actions and thoughts that put us up there with the angels. I am terrified that they will begin to believe this mindless violence and evil is what life is about. Or that the empty and pitiful pursuit of material and physical indulgences will be enough to fill their souls. I am blessed with two incredibly bright and thoughtful boys, who already suffer from the isolation that comes with not following the herd. I sure don't want to add to the pressure that makes them feel different.
Perhaps worst of all, was that he watched over two hours of Keanu Reeves. No child should be exposed to acting that bad.
