And, worse still, if this stuff gathers in one section of the country, say the South, we have even more serious issues. Think they'll secede? They're an expense we can hardly afford.

And, worse still, if this stuff gathers in one section of the country, say the South, we have even more serious issues. Said, as I reread my way into Shelby Foote's Civil War series. The mindset here in the South is, that if the Civil War were a football game, we are in half-time. Still seeing lots of folks pick bowl game winners using the North vs South dichotomy. I've thought for sometime now that our present national political discourse resembles the late 1850s.
