Ted, > So then, whatever the union says goes. It that what you're trying to tell me?

I like how you speak on a semi-intelligent level with your fellow liberals ...

... but when it comes to conservatives, you have to act like a complete idiot.

I used to speak with you all in the same way I speak with Z. Maybe you can figure out why I know longer try....why RW has for all intent and purposes left the thread.

And even when you talk semi-intelligently, you end up with the same boneheaded conclusion. "It's all management's fault. Prove me otherwise."

When there is a screwup in the gov't.....like with the Nigerian and his terrorist plot, you all blame Obama because he is the commander in chief. However, when it comes to a car company, you all blame the workers. Such illogic is profound in its wrongness.

And now maybe we came go back to your statement up above.....why I don't bother to converse with you all intelligently any more....why RW has given up and left...why others are posting here less and less....me included.

Your ideology is so entwined with illogic that it makes any kind of reasonable conversation moot. In fact, its mentally draining....not invigorating.

The bottom line is that both unions and management have contributed to a work culture that rewards themselves for mediocrity. It's that simple.

Maybe so but that doesn't change the fact that the buck stops with mgmt. To blame unions who only control one piece of the puzzle is ludicrous and speaks more to your ideology than the reality.
