Most people would find it remarkable and questionable that Hal. and Blackwater got non competitive bids in Iraq.....but not you.

No they wouldn't. Only left wing nutjobs would find anything unusual about it. The law provides for use of such contracts within particular circumstances, HAL is one of only a few companies in the world capable of handling them, and frankly, they've done fantastic work in Iraq.

The critical, essential point is that neither Cheney nor anyone else within the administration had anything to gain from such contracts. Short of some kind of financial gain, there is no conflict here.

I've explained this to you multiple times in the past. Not sure why it is so complicated for you. I don't hear you bitching about Obama continuing to use some of these firms as well as other plain mercenaries.
