Peter: ny competent military commander would want to know where to avoid bombing. You leftwingers might have wanted to create an environmental disaster as an unintended consequence, but those who love the environment would work to prevent that. Except this was before 9/11 and before we had declared war on Iraq. It points to a pattern of doing whatever it took to go to war with Iraq to secure oil supplies. It is what is wrong with our foreign policy...it's completely driven by our insatiable lust for oil. Bush and Cheney were in bed with the oil companies.
