He'll be appointed to some cushy ambassadorship and eventually become a lobbyist. He will be allowed to keep all of the booty he corruptly accumulated during his rein. He'll be out of the spotlight and thus achieve a lot of anonymity which will allow him to continue thieving.

The very fact that these pig politicians even use the word "retire" is a disgrace... our government is supposed to be represented by us for a period of time and them we should return home to our regular jobs, much like military service... being a Washington politician is NOT a career, there should not be a retirement, there should simply be a rotation among local citizens of that area who go to Washington to represent us... this is what the founding fathers of this country clearly stated we should do... the fact that these pigs even consider themselves a career politician is our own damn fault and our own damn stupidity...
