Warner's diabetes drug may damage liver -FDA WASHINGTON, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Warner-Lambert Co. is changing the label on its new diabetes drug Rezulin because it may cause liver damage, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said Monday. It said it had received 35 reports of liver damage among the 500,000 U.S. patients who have taken the drug since it came on the market in January, and the company was changing its labeling in reponse.
