Sorry for the previous post. I got the central time and est time confused. Actually I was trying to cancel my order since 9:00 am central and 10:00 EST. i.e., about 30 minutes after open. In my email to etrade I also got both wrong. Therefore they nailed me easily. I emailed them again and requested them to check the record about my calling time, which was about 30 minutes after open.
