John, Thanks for the quick feedback on Internet2. Sure is nice to know that Cisco will not be left out in this technology.

In your opinion,
1. what is the time frame for Internet2 to become viable commercially? 2 years? More?
2. what is the impact of Internet2 on Ciscos product rollout?
3. Does Internet2 use erybium (I forgot the spelling) doped amplifiers for laser beams travelling in the backbone, and cable modems to the end users?
4 . Will routing still be viable, or will people just put all the frequencies on a single line, and just tune into it? Is security an unovercomable obstacle to having all data on a singe line?

Thanks
