All told, more BS has been spewed about MON than about any other company I can think of. Here’s a case in point (previously posted on Peter’s board):

I poked around looking for an agribiotech,
maybe one working on ug99 resistant wheat
varieties. Egypt was planting two new
resistant varieties, it was in the news
last month, but I got lost on the trail--
food and seed agencies with long acronyms
seem to claim the seed and I couldn't tell
who did the transgenic work--or even if
there was any real agribiotech involved.

Another thing I'd like to find out is
whether anybody is doing work for specific
herbicides for knapweed. My father in law
is battling spotted knapweed, gosh that
is awful stuff--and I'm allergic to it.

I had SYT in my list, and probably had
MON at one time or another, but it is alot
easier to follow very small companies with
just a trickle of news flow, ha.
