You shouldn't. He apparently hangs out with people who game the system. Going on unemployment so they can watch Oprah, etc.

It is sort of amusing how he claims he despises bureaucracy, yet he advocates the very form of behavior that is why bureaucracies exist.

Consistent isn't he? Hates Medicare "entitlements" but incensed that it may now be cut, hates "Oprah" watching freeloaders but would try to game any loophole in a new health care system.

I don't "hang out" with anyone like this. I do KNOW someone who is on unemployment and fully intends to run it out to the end. I have total disdain for it, but it is a defective system that encourages this behavior. It isn't ONE person -- it is a poorly designed program.

All you have to do to fix unemployment is to make people WORK for their unemployment checks. Pick up paper, community service, whatever. Problem solved. Common sense.

But no. YOu guys want to give it away.
