Why are modified crops moer dependent on chemical fertilizers than non-modified?

Which modifications are moral and which are immoral?

Is hybridization immoral ... you can get something which has never existed before via hybridization. And which can't reproduce naturally.

Further, the changed crops pollinate and change crops for miles around regardless of what other farmers are trying to do.

As you say, thousands of years of gods work changed in an instant... in some cases world wide. Of course if you dont' believe in evolution....
