Wayne,
Here is a site where gold/silver may be purchased and that also has excellent links to other sites, quotes, an excellent, sometimes rowdy, sometimes eloquent, discussion group. Enjoy.

Wayne: check out the following is denominated in C$ and is a way to hold AU and AG as paper, but the paper is 100% backed up by ownership of the metals. You would want to contact them to obtain inventories. If interested, I have inventories from a couple of months back, let me know. There is one thing that concerns me with this stock in that it is somewhat illiquid....one would want to buy low with an all or nothing order. Good thing is that there is limited exposure to exchange rip off if you are buying from Canada. Also, the banks or other brokers want a fair $ to hold and store these metals, so, that is a plus for CEF.A. Another plus is the ease of unwinding the purchase, much more difficult if you hold the metal physically or in Gold or Silver Certificates.
