Gold normally tracks the monetary base among other things, so it is actually
quite a bit undervalued, given everything. Gold holdings
as a percentage of Fed balance sheet should be roughly the
same long term (reaching 100% during gold bubbles)
Other than that, it's difficult to assign value to the
monetary metal. It needs to go to 2-3K to catch up. <G>
