Sure, he created an image that he finds flawed, then proceeds to argue why he or his view is superior to the flawed one(s) he created. That is creating a strawman, that is how I see your actions as well. That is what religionists do. He didn't represent all of Christiandom accurately and he definitely did not represent those other groups as they would wholy represent themselves. He pecked at them like a rapacious old cock pecks at bits of grain in the dirt, then struts off. Representative religionists from other groups do the same thing to Christianity.
