Thanks for the link. The last paragraph has direct financial relevance to us all <g>:

"Companies that attend the Classic usually benefit by an uptick in their stock price. AEA officials said that over the past five years, the average price of companies attending the conference rose by 7 percent during the week."

Hi Betty,

BTW, do you know why our other company is a no show at this gathering?? I am asking Fred for the reason. I think I already know as you do!!!! Got another Annual Meeting to attend today at La Costa.
I think this one is ready to turn. They got young blood now at work.

It would be nice to see a jump in JMAR price. It will come in time when it is DESERVED on earnings and not hype. Keep up the good work you do for us all. I may see you at the other Annual Meeting if I can get off. I will not be trying that hard tho as it will be another dog and pony show they put on.

Jim

Betty, thanks for the great info on the conference. It usually is held in Monterey, but this year it is held in JMAR's home town of San Diego. Perhaps JMAR can invite a select group of brokers and analysts to visit after the show, since JMAR is a stone's throw from the conference.

This looks to be the largest financial forum that JMAR has ever attended. As Mike pointed out, most stocks get a boost from this. I also like the blurb below from your link:

"It's the largest high-tech financial forum that's not sponsored by a
brokerage firm," said Sherman DeForest, chairman of the AEA's San Diego chapter. Most of the companies are small to medium in size, with market capitalizations of $600 million or less.
