<<Will gold be as good to China as it was to India?>>

do not know whether that is the question, and am not sure the answer matters.

imo it is an imperative for enough to think about this question, <<will gold matter to china>>

the answer is "no", meaning
enough folks in china can buy as much gold as they wish at as high a price as they can, and can much, and will can even more, and the gold would still not matter to china

but, the gold price would matter much to me, if not know, then then.

should 10% of china folks each buy 10 oz of gold at usd 10k/oz, 'china' would neither feel it nor care

but punching in 10k per oz gold into my ms money program would matter just a little and make me happy enough
