All I discuss with anybody in person is dance moves. Outside of my kids, who think like I do. And one or two people who I know think like us.

Why provoke the rest? They are not interested.

Found myself nodding at everything you were talking about when you try to discuss the current situation with your friends….There must be a Dem talking points list for "wantabee know it alls" that they read….it's almost exactly the same here verbatim.

The only thing I've not asked is "how important do you think it is for the American voters to be informed on ALL issues they vote on"…..it would be interesting to hear what the "don't want to discuss anything" folks think about that

PS Tell your housekeeper CONGRATS on being so smart not to vote for Maxine Waters. Your housekeeper, whoever she is, has more brains than Waters....

If I was you..........right about the time I was told I didn't know what I am talking about I would have to politely tell my "friends" that I wasn't going to be insulted one more second and if they really felt that way I would tell them I have no choice but to discontinue any meaningful relationship we may have because I prefer to surround myself with people who are more tolerant, better informed, and a wee bit more curious about where i stand on the important issues facing our nation.

Then I would have gotten up and walked out.

I'm sorry! These don't sound like friends, they sound like self centered ignorant boobs to me.

You were disrespected and ill treated and no one deserves that.

The challenge is that people have to admit they were wrong. That is a very difficult thing to achieve in public. It is not so difficult in the voting booth.
