Doesn't matter what the House wants or what the intended level is.

We all get screwed over by higher taxes. Best way to raise taxes is to raise them on everyone. That way you have a consistent revenue stream and everyone can feel the burden of "being a f**king society, Tench."

Raising taxes on the "rich" almost always screws over the middle class one way or another. This "Cadillac tax" is one of many examples. CA tried to structure its taxes on the "rich," and look what happened.

Like I said before, if you want a real wealth tax, tax property.
