Xy: Just talked to H&Q...they said they did lower estimates...didn't write down the exact numbers, but was a few cents for next quarter and about 30 cents for 1998...They said concern is mostly INTC's underexposure in $1000 PC market...Regards, Bogey

Xy, HQ is everywhere today on TV helping to formulate my smaller fool theory.

If the bigger fool theory states that during the occurrence of a bubble, there is a bigger fool that will come along to buy it from the fool who paid too much until the unfortunate biggest fool is left with the bubble bursting.

In my corollary, H&Q is the smallest fool that comes along to lower Intel ratings after everyone else has already lowered and are about to reverse themselves.

Anyhow, you get my drift?

Regards,

Mary
