No, there won't be. Personally, I am not in the market for a TV, and won't be anytime soon. I get my TV content off the Net and am perfectly content with that.

Yep. This was poorly thought out. Only a few of the available TVs can be upgraded to 3D, and to do that means a big hit on resolution. Which makes buying anything now to be a dumb idea. Given you big reasons to not buy right now is a bad idea.
