Lee, may God reward you for taking notes in church. God Bless. worship is the part of the music that is us to God,Jesus,Holy Spirit. Then there is also music about our relationship to them...that's not worship in most cases. Another catagory of music is about our relationship to others. these last two catagories can use parables too. and many times the arthor gets a prophecy to describe it... then throw in some drums and electric guitars and you have a controversey. But, in my praising of the Father...there has never been any doubt in my mind that by raising Him up..somehow if my heart did it for the right reasons..I was rasied up too. When the secular rock demon came out of me, I was just praising the Father just to be praising the Father...no other reason.
