Darlene - give us a break from the endless hype- Are you saying that you really think BCMD is even close to a Diamond Field Resources or a Voisey Bay. I think it would be more appropriate to compare it to Bre X. - and I will even use your own words Darlene "All of us who watched it learned a very valuable lesson on how these stocks can trade ... I know I sure did"

Unlike what Charger thinks, there is a doubt, always, for what is in the ground. Sampling is just that, sampling. There could be much more than assayed and there could be much less. Noone really knows exactly what will be in the rocks until it is extracted. Speaking of extraction, what technique is BCMD using to get at the gold? Cost of $150 per ton is EXTREMELY impressive by industry standards. I do know that there is plenty of Gold in Australia, but technology had been lagging to bring it out of the ground for a real profit. Usually 275-325 was real good for cost per ton to get at the gold. As the price of Gold has come down so much over the years, it was not profitable to go after the gold in Australia. I am sure the Australian corps. would love to know BCMD's technique.
Darlene, what evidence is there of the potential finds(ie. is Keewatin Engineering a reputable company for assaying the region?) Is another group going to assay the region(core sampling)? You are definitely right about one thing-BCMD is in production. That is the biggest thing going for BCMD right now. The more they produce, the more bargaining power they get(assuming there is gold in the produced tonnage) with a potential JV. If PR is correct in saying that JVs are now coming to BCMD's door, then more gold found will lend more credibility and increase the stakes.
In talking with PR, news about production numbers won't be released until the end of the quarter(as with all companies), but significant news like JV partner and MAJOR gold finds like the one last month would be disseminated as necessary. It is entirely possible that BCMD will be given the opportunity to complete a full quarter of production before there is any hype about what is there and what will come out. PR is adamant about being "correct" with regards to releasing information. In no way does it wish to give the impression of BRE-X. Releasing news about the big chunks of gold was significant, so it was not about to be held up for any reason. PR believes that having the gold in hand to show those non-believers is the BEST way to go. Obviously, there will be those who say BCMD is full of it, and showing the evidence is the only way to silence them. Basically, BCMD wants to walk the walk and not talk the talk.
My view has always been of a promising event for BCMD. I only wish to encourage all to heed warnings of past events. BCMD may be a great gold rush again, but there needs to be solid proof of potential(reputable assays and gold that we can touch that has come from the mines). I believe in the potential right now, as do the buyers of the stock. The potential is that there is real gold coming up in a profitable manner. It is easy to get excited, and I am. However, I keep in mind that the potential for glory is just as great as the potential for bankruptcy.
We are in significant production and that is something that BCMD has never been able to say. To the naysayers, you have to admit to this. It is a much better situation than investing in a company that only says it has land to mine.
Of course there is also the real possibilty that the gold was planted, as was the case in BRE-X.
Last, my info has been coming from a geologist, one who has a masters in mineral economics. The addition of the new people was deemed by my source as a significant event. "It adds to the potential that there is something big going on there."

Darlene, got a stock symbol for the DFR company you mentioned?
