To increase RMIL visibility, we need a good, concise summary be sent to Leroy Stockman for his newletter. It is widely read and well respected. I'm surprised is hasn't appeared sooner with all that is happening...Here's an exerpt from one of his latest newsletters. Subject: Re: Why shorters win LeRoy, A number of small investors met on the Silicon Investor (SI) website and began demanding certificates in a company named Olympus Ventures.(OVIS). In the two months since, the company has merged, changed Transfer Agents, been sued by a short Market Maker for stock manipulation because the price has gone UP (20› to $2.00) and counter-sued. The company is now called Rocky Mountain (RMIL) and has good financials, despite the fact that the shorts have beat it down for over a year through a 1:30 reverse split and then anotyher of 1:10. So each share out there represents 300 shares from 1995. The CEO has announced a 'commission' to study illegal shorting. That is just the high spots. The stock is up from 2.25 to 2.62 today... See: Bob Comment: Bob, when I see things like this, I am concerned. Companies don't reverse split unless they are part of the conspiracy (as a general rule). I'd check into it further if I were you. Is there other stock outstanding ie: 144, Reg S, and is the company selling stock on news? You might be surprized...LS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~'' Subject: Naked Shorts LeRoy, The best tactic a company can use to fight shorts is to ask all shareholders to take possession of stock. This way there will be no shares to "borrow" from clients accounts to cover naked shorts when a squeeze comes. In general we need severe laws to make naked shorting the same as currency counterfeiting. Really there is much more damage done to the public by naked shorts than by counterfeit currency. All individual investors should demand that Congress and the SEC destroy all naked shorting. reply: Comment, I agree whole heartedly with you however, the rascals who do this are MM and brokerage houses. And somewhere they always have access to stock, should they need it. For example, a brokerage house may have access to treasury stock, or be closely related to a mutual fund. These should be dealt with also....LS Leroy Stockman can be reached at stockman@megahits.comemporium.turnpike.net
