Nope ... large vessel can't turn fast enough to ram the smaller, quick vessel ... that's why in every jurisdiction the small vessel is required to give way.

When there is a collision between a small boat that can turn on a dime, and a ship that requires hundreds of yards to turn, there's no way the collision is the fault of the ship.
