Depending on the reason Medicare denies the claim the supplement may or may not pick up the difference.

But you may want to ask yourself why people who are "covered" under Medicare must have supplements (which most do). If Medicare is so great, why is it the only coverage a person can have where they almost FOR SURE have to buy a policy to cover what their primary policy doesn't cover?
