Who were we suppossed to choose in 2004 George W. Bush, a guy who was barely qualified to be a mid-level manager and ran this country like two-bit dictator warmonger (remember, "I am the decider"), all while neglecting the infrastructure and econmic foundations that keep this country functioning (which led to the economic collapse at the end of his Presidency)? Or John McCain in 2008, who was ready to continue the insanity that George W. Bush started in Iraq and continue the Republican philosophy of neglect? I am glad that I choose Obama in 2008. Warts and all, he's light years better than George W. Bush was or John McCain would have been. Highways that haven't been touched in years are finally getting fixed in my area. An important flood control project in my area is getting completed that will save $100 Millions and lives. Wall Street is recovering, as people are feeling more confident that it's not just a big con game house of cards that is going to collapse. To top it off, we are actually pulling out of Iraq; a country we never had any business going into in the first place. Obama is cozy with big money interests, but that is no surprise. You don't get into the position of President without being in bed with the moneyed elite who really hold the power in this country.

Choosing George W. Bush or John McCain is hardly choosing wisely. If you don't like Democrats running the country, there are better and wiser choices on the right than the two negligent warmongers the Republicans put up the last two elections.
