Influence in state matters is essential and ever present in EVERY western country. If a God does exist he/she would have to be nothing but highly disappointed in what is being carried out in his/her name with regards to a moral code. The carrot on the stick is the promise of immortality and it has always been and always will be the folly of mankind.
