the common denominator is that everyone of these plane bombers had links to radicals in the Middle East, or had made trips to the Middle East prior to their nefarious activities! We have the intel to identify these guys. We need to use it unabashedly. Forget being nice. If you are a Muslim and you've visited Yemen recently, I want you checked out with a full body scan before you board a plane at the bare minimum.

I agree. I have heard at least three intel guys say that if the terrorist gets to the airport, its too late. We need to get them before they get to the airport.....when they try to buy a ticket and are denied because they are on the no fly list, or intel figures out what they are getting ready to do and picks them up before they do it.

IMO that's where the greatest money should be spent on the 'war on terror'....doing preventative intel instead of invading nations.

It insults our collective intelligence to check out the blond and the grandma in a wheel chair.

Actually, they need to spot check everyone at some point...including the blondes and the grandmas. You just never know who is a potential terrorist.
