I think the people aren't happy. Not because of Dave's concerns, but, because of the economy. If the economy still sucks on election day, incumbents will be voted OUT. Since there are considerably MORE (D) incumbents, it would be worse for them. On the other hand, if the economy has improved, Americans can be SURE the (R)'s didn't have a damn thing to do with it, voting NO on everything and obstructing, and the (D)'s will be fine, with the (R)'s held in even lower regard than now.
