Once the program is loaded from the boot disk, if something was corrupted the program should not start.

I am using the OEM cd and the surface is free of defects.

I am running on a Dec 25 image, all is fine.

I need a new imaging program.

Images made in 2010 pass validation. They are good. There is some sort of strange bug with year 2010. Dec 2009 images restore just fine. Going to be searching the news groups for error in the coming weeks as more people may be restoring in the new year:
