i note the old fisherman's trick of holding that largemouth closer to the camera so it appears larger. -g- nonetheless, what did that monster go? 15 or 16 lb?

That's a nice bass, that wide angle lens makes it look like it's 40lbs<g>
But, here is the coolest bass story ever and it's ending. Dottie was 25lbs, she didn't get the world record because she was foul hooked outside the mouth....which is usually only a rule when sight fishing for spawning fish in tournaments.

I'm still disappointed I'm not getting to fish the Bassmaster Opens this year. However, the day I got home from fishing at the end of last years season I injured my rotator cuff sleeping and it's been two months now and it doesn't appear to be getting better. I went fishing a couple of weeks ago and it didn't hurt when fishing, it actually felt better, but if I was fighting a big fish it might be different. I'm still trying to decide what tournaments to fish this year....this may be what's called a rebuilding year for me? Maybe, I'll just go down to lake Falcon and Amistad and have fun during spawning season and just compete against myself .....I just live too far to fish all those good tournament lakes....it may take all year to sell my home here and move south for next year? <g>
