If one gets fired, they are ineligble for unemployment benefits (at least in this state).

Who pays for it? Businesses and taxpayers.



Three states, PA, NJ, and AK, take money directly out out employees paychecks to pay into the unemployment fund. I live in one of these states, so this is NOT welfare!

They can now upgrade the DirecTV subscription.

Or put food on the table.

There is a huge class of people that live by gaming the system.

People on unemployment do not typically fall into this group.....but you can believe they do if you like. Unemployment extension benefits were the only part of the stimulus I agreed with.
