To all (off-topic):

Datek has a "trades only" server, meaning it never gets bogged down with people trying to get RT quotes, news, graphs and charts. I have never had a problem with that server, albeit that their other servers showed some signs of duress with the melt down on Monday and Tuesday of last week.

Datek does not trade options... yet. So there are some disadvantages.

<Off Topic> IMO, E*Trade is to online trading what America Online is to internet access.

Lots of fancy features and catchy advertising along with expansion beyond capacity, erratic performance and angry users.

Thanks Steve,

I have had no problems with ETRADE, I only answered for the benefit of the other guys who have been complaining. I even tried to get into my account after I read their messages and it was OK. Could be their Internet connection also. I also have an Ameritrade account but I had a dispute with them over a fax order I sent a while back while I was in Europe and it didin't get executed so I am cancelling my account there.
