A new poll out tonight shows Republican Scott Brown has narrowly pulled ahead of his liberal Democrat opponent, Martha Coakley, in the race for Senate in Massachusetts. The race is now just a one-point contest, where Scott Brown leads Martha Coakley by a margin of 48%-47%. The political news/opinion website, Politico.com, reported on the latest poll developments and noted that Brown has pledged to voters he will OPPOSE the Democrat's government-run healthcare plan: Republican Scott Brown opposes the government-run healthcare plan now being debated by Congress. He launched his campaign on the platform of lower taxes and reduced government spending. He has earned the support of many within the Tea Party movement, and we here at the Tea Party Express want to deliver that message to the people of Massachusetts.
