This is the busiest, or at least one of the top 2 or 3, in the country.

Of course we have far more passengers than Israel. But we are also able to spend far more money on people and technology to do the work. Proportionately more or even disproportionately more.

Look, I recognize our government is one big fat bureaucracy. That's why I hate it so. But this needs to happen. It is a matter of priorities. If we can spend trillions on bogus stimulus, trillions on dumbing-down our health care system, we can certainly spend the money to make air travel in the country safe.

I realize that systems is not your forte. But you don't get bogged down in the details of replicating the system that works. You first grasp the concept -- that we should NOT be profiling articles of clothing, and instead, we should be profiling passengers. Once you get past that you can start to address the problem in a sensible manner.
