Just saw the author of this biography of Arthur Koestler on C-Span, and found this review of the book on Slate. I didn't know much about him before, other than having read Darkness at Noon many years ago. He was quite the Dostoevskian character. I'm with you on this one, too. Dostoevskian is a good word to describe him. Read some of these reviews in the past several weeks. They don't entice me into reading the book; nor rereading the Koestler I've read. But a strange character.
