....trx has been cut to drift...IMO no matter how much contained metal, grade is too low..GRADE is ALWAYS KING.

The grade is not too low, provided the capital is recovered. What I believed was always missing from this deposit, and others like "Prosperity", is there is no sweet spot, or zone of high(er) grade that will provide a quick return of capital. Once capital is repayed, cutoff grades can be .2% copper, or even .15%.

That was the other thing that happened with Goldcorp last week, scooping El Morro from the clutches of Barrick ... probably contributed to Terrane's tankola, yes no doubt [though as confirmed gappist i maintain that the gap-up from mid-november has been pulling hard for weeks, it certainly prompted me to sell] ... but hmm, 'cut to drift', that's a bit harsh don't you think ... delayed a tad possibly, or maybe not - 2010 construction budget is 170m and Goldcorp's slice [they would want to keep up their percentage almost certainly?] would be what, 90m or so ... can't they do that out of petty cash, just shovel it out of the plane window on the way to somewhere else?

But you have a point, the share may be having some delay priced into it now, we shall see ... geographically and with an eye to poli-risk, Mt Milligan would seem to have an advantage being in the back country of Lotusland ... still grade is important, so is size, it might be IRR that is king at the end of the day
