But military officials acknowledged that they were taken aback by the president’s initial insistence that the troops be in place within six months. Last fall, military officials repeatedly said that it would take as long as a year to 18 months for all the troops to be in place. Nobody in this White House seems to have any feel for logistics. Does anybody have any military experience?

Baloney!!!!! A rapid deployment is central to President Obama’s strategy, IF Obama wanted a rapid deployment, he would not have taken 3 MONTHS to Dither, Fritter, and Waste valuable time as well as Military Lives to decide what to do. What does Obama and his merry band of ninnys think it takes to get 30,000 men and women, all their clothing, gear, food, water, basic supplies, weapons, trucks, medical supplies, and ten kazillion other things needed to arrive anyplace????

That kind of foggy thinking...."why can't 30,000 people be in Afghanistan already" because I the One said it should happen, is the very same idiocy that wants the Senate and House to HURRY UP and patch together 2000-3000 pages of whatever crap they want to include in a bill that no one can see until after it is written....hope the heck that no one makes a fuss so the POTUS can sign the pile of "stuff"....and THEN... have it take 4 YEARS to implement the beast....but tax right away. The stupidity is more than this country can take.
