Greg:
GT Interactive is a computer / next generation format games Publisher/Distributor . References to T/A (a GT title) are refences to projected "REVENUES" as it applies to "EARNINGS". Most if not all the postings here reference GT/Microprose titles. Other titles discussed here cover competition issues as they relate to "GT/MPRS SALES". BTW, GT is buying MPRS, hence the references to MPRS titles.
Peter Lynch's philosophy is: "Invest In What You Know", most investors who follow this thread are Investor/Gamers, so its going to have that slant. If you don't play PC or NG platform games, I'd imagine you'd think this was a gamers forum.
Press releases related to GT/MPRS titles are posted here as they relate to "SALES" issues, and that affects "REVENUES", which in turn affects EARNINGS PER SHARE. Which is scheduled to be announced today after the market closes.
IMHO,If you feel strongly that GTIS is going to go south, then sell !! This stock is more of a mid to longterm investment vehicle, rather than a short term trader.
Cheers
Bill

<<I'm not picking on you specifically, but this seems to have become more of a gamer's forum than a discussion thread about the stock!
Does anyone have anything to say about GTIS, the stock? I am just about ready to dump mine before it heads south again!>>>

I gotta say, I am miffed by this note! Gaming is obviously going to be a major contributor to GT's bottom line. They went for distribution last year and it appears they are grabbing game share this year. What exactly is there to say about a stock? I am a total disbeliever in technical analysis. It's a bunch of bologna. Products and earnings are what usually elevate stocks. They usually don't rise out of some unknown volition. In evaluating a company's products it helps to have the opinions of those who have actually used them, thus there is a lot of talk about games on here. As Walmart closes out GT's presence, the company has decided to turn it's attention toward development and marketing. Without that they would be just another no or low growth distribution company.
